  Accreditation
MTSU Aerospace had been nationally accredited since 1992. The Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI) has accredited all five of the Aerospace concentrations!

  Flight Labs

Students should download and print the entire Lab Request Packet for each semester they are applying for. The first two pages of each packet should be signed and then submitted to the flight school secretary within the appropriate application periods listed below. Late forms will not be accepted or considered.

  MAJOR IN AEROSPACE

Concentration:
TECHNOLOGY
The technology concentration is designed for students interested in technical careers in aerospace and as preparation for those who seek more advanced study at the graduate level.  Students will receive a strong background in mathematics, the sciences, industrial studies, and the more technical courses in aerospace.  This concentration requires the completion of:

  1. 36 semester hours or aerospace courses as listed below;
  2. Minors in Mathematics and Engineering Technology and Industrial Studies;
  3. Two semesters of general chemistry and two semesters of calculus-based physics;
  4. Other specific required courses as listed below.
