since 1992. The Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI) has
accredited all five of the Aerospace concentrations!

Terry first joined the MTSU staff
in 1988 as an adjunct faculty member and became a full time
faculty member in 1989. Mr. Dorris received his A.S. in 1985,
his B.S. in Aerospace Maintenance Management in 1987, his M.Ed.
in Aerospace Education in 1991 and his Ed.S. in Curriculum and
Instruction in 1993 and has conducted work toward his Ed.D. in
Educational Leadership at Vanderbilt University. He is a
Certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) with twenty-two
years experience. He also holds an Inspectors Authorization (IA)
and is a Designated Maintenance Examiner (DME). In addition he
is a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), an Instrument Flight
Instructor (CFII), and a Multi-engine Flight Instructor (MEI)
with twenty years experience. He is a seaplane pilot and is in
charge of the tailwheel flight training program at MTSU. Between
1993 and 1999 he was MTSU's Airframe and Powerplant program
director. Mr. Dorris also provides service to MTSU as a charter
pilot in the University's Cessna 404. Feel free to visit his
